Recently, we stepped into the C.U.H.K.A.A. Thomas Cheung School to participate in their unique "FUN FRIDAY"curriculum event.

The Challenge: How to Grant Students True "Freedom of Choice"?

The school’s "FUN FRIDAY" initiative aims to encourage autonomous learning for Primary 5 and 6 students, allowing them to select specialized courses based on their personal interests. However, managing the enrollment process for hundreds of students—balancing individual preferences with strict classroom capacity limits—posed a significant administrative hurdle.

The Solution: Repurposing THE GULU as an EdTech Tool

Through close collaboration with two students from Class 5D and their teachers, we seamlessly integrated THE GULU’s booking infrastructure into the school’s curriculum management workflow.

This time, students weren’t "waiting for a table"; they were "booking knowledge." Through our platform, they achieved:

• Comprehensive Exploration: Browsing all "FUN FRIDAY" course details via a digital interface.

• Autonomous Decision-Making: Practicing time and resource management by personally selecting their preferred classes.
